One of the greatest challenges to our Club with its Australia wide membership is to ensure that the Club remains relevant to even the remotest of our Members.
We understand that people from Perth can’t get to functions at the Club House and that people in Queensland can’t come on field trips organised in the Hawkesbury & Hunter. But that does not mean that they can not benefit from the fellowship of likeminded people that make up the Membership.
Therefore, in an attempt to better the communication between the Membership we have improved our website, which now includes a Members only Forum. This allows Members, after a simple registration process, to post matters of interest to them and hopefully other Members.
So if you have a matter that has been troubling you, why not throw it to the Forum. Another Member may have solved a similar problem in a novel way. If you’ve bred a winner, share your success with others. Everyone needs a little encouragement. Or if you just want t have a chat...
Only Members have the ability to post to the Members Forum which requires a Member to logon and use a password. When posting there you know that your comment can only be accessed by fellow Members.
There is also a General Forum that is open to the public to read. And if you post to that you should always remember that your views can be read by all and sundry and perhaps may need be a little more circumspect.
If you encounter any difficulties our very friendly webmaster Peter Haynes will be only too happy to help you.
We now feel that we have done our bit and that it is now up to you, the Members, to make it work. So please sign up and get chatting.
